Police Didn’t arrest anyone in connection with the killing of a teenager in purangaon village of Habiganj ‘s Nabiganj upazila on Sunday night (November 24) following a dispute over sharing a Wi-Fi Connection.
The throat -slit body of Mostakin Mia 17, a mason and son of the late Zafar Mia, was found on the bed in his house.
Nabiganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Dulal Mia said that locals found Mostakin Mia’s throat-slit body lying on the bed in his house and informed police station Later, Police went to the spot at midnight and prepared a post-mortem report on the body.
Fulbanu Bibi, Mother of the deceased, filed a case with Nabiganj police station in this Connection on November 25.
According to Md Kamal Hossain, Nabiganj police station officer-in-charge, Mustakin was allegedly throatslitted by suspect Raihan
Uddin during the attack and he died on the Spot.
The Victim’s Mother stated that the duo had quarrelled several days earlier over the Wi-Fi connection.
OC Kamal Hossain confirmed that efforts were underway to apprehend the accused.
Locals believe that if Taslima, a suspect in the
Case,is interrogated,the mystery of the murder may be revealed.
Meanwhile, the night after Mostakim’s burial,a crime scene team led by Police inspector Md. Badrul from Habiganj police Bureau of investigation visited the scene.
